A Double Dose of Time Flying

10 years. TEN YEARS!

It always feels like it was just the other day, but ten years ago my partner in crime, Sean Wynn, and I released Double Dose. I intended to have Sean expand on his character's appearance on my sci-fi narrative album: Star Pilot's Revenge. Because I felt I had exhausted my ideas for story in my Star Pilot Music content from the Star Pilot's perspective, the ultimate goal was to begin diving into the ancillary characters to add some depth and renewed interest in the universe.

If you are familiar with the Star Pilot series, you would have recognized projects focusing on Badd Wolfe, Danger, and General Prang himself! Unfortunately, the plan only came together in spurts and ultimately fell short of my grandiose plan...haha. There was no real culprit or big reason for the miss other than life just being life and things and people move as they do.

Nevertheless, I always look back fondly on that chapter in my creative life and appreciate all the love, support, and excitement folks shared with me on the way to three albums, two successfully funded Kickstarters, and one pair of goofy sci-fi sunglasses! The extra bonus came in that for quite some time, it gave Sean and I a great song to perform live!.

All that being said, it's just nice to look back on somethings—even if they didn't turn out as planned—and appreciate them for the goodness they embody. Thanks for reading and enjoy a "Double Dose!"

Side Note:

My sci-fi story telling is still going strong. If you haven't, please consider checking out my sci-fi short story, "Broken Hourglass." It's an intriguing tale about one woman's plan to take down a planet-wide technology-banning religious sect. Check it out!
